Abstract: Whether your career path takes you into academics, a research role at a company, or a startup, the basic concepts of IP and how your ideas can be translated into products that may have a positive impact on our world will likely be highly useful. In this talk, the Office of Technology Development, which is responsible for commercializing the research developed by Harvard labs and research groups, will provide an overview of IP basics and also talk about the pathways to commercialize your research.
