We are interested in electronic auctions, mechanisms and markets, peer production and social computing, and in the constructive use of economic methodologies within computational systems.

The EconCS Group at Harvard pursues research, both theoretical and experimental, on artificial intelligence and algorithms for social and economic impact.

The group has traditionally focused on the interface between computer science and economics; in recent years the scope has expanded beyond economics to disciplines such as political science and public health.
